The Difference:
Whilst a number of car care products on the market contain carnauba wax, more often than not it is in a liquid form and typically only represents about 5% by volume. Swissvax waxes by contrast are formed into “cires pasteuses” (pastes), which allows for a much higher carnauba content of 30% to over 60% by volume.
Carnauba is the world’s purest, hardest and most transparent natural wax. It is harvested from the top of the leaves of the “Copernica prunifera” a fan palm native to northern Brazil. The highest and most expensive quality is classified as rare Grade One Carnabua, the quality used in our Swissvax waxes. The level of shine increases with the percentage of carnauba used in a wax formula.
An ordinary "polish" simply polishes a paint surface shiny while the lower layers of paint get dryer and "starve". Swissvax restores valuable oils of the original paint finish. These essential oils, such as cinnamon, avocado and vanilla, used as carriers for the wax, give these products their wonderful aromas and create a swirl-free gloss. In fact it is this exclusive formula which creates a glow that goes beyond normal perceptions of "shiny".
